Natalie was originally introduced to Pilates as a form of conditioning whilst a dancer. Following injuries and utilising Pilates for her own rehabilitation, Natalie's passion for Pilates and understanding the body’s functional movement capacity developed. Natalie studied a Bachelor of Dance at the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne, where she acquired knowledge in numerous movement practices including Kinesiology, Functional Anatomy and Feldenkrais.
Whilst living and dancing in London, Natalie trained as a Stott Pilates instructor and taught in private Pilates studios. Since returning to Australia in 2013, she has thoroughly enjoyed teaching Pilates, combining her years of dance teaching experience and kinetic movement knowledge, to assist others improve their functional movement capacity and body awareness.
Natalie has studied a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science, and has completed the Polestar Pilates Rehabilitation course. Natalie has taught Pilates in Physiotherapy clinics for the previous 2 years, working with a diverse range of individuals with various musculoskeletal conditions, athletes, dancers, and those who appreciate the benefits of Pilates for better posture and all over body conditioning.
Working in clinical Pilates studios, Natalie is focused on developing her career in rehabilitation. She has very recently relocated to Sydney and is undertaking her Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney.Go Back
