This chia pudding is wonderful for breakfast, dessert or as a during-the-day snack. I love that you can easily make this ahead of time and keep it in the fridge for a couple of days ready for when you need.
Simple. The juice and zest of the orange adds a nice touch of sweetness so this gluten-free, dairy free and refined sugar free delight is great on the lips and hips!
Chia seeds are jam packed full of nutrients including antioxidants, fibre, protein and fatty acids.
You can top this little beauty with whichever fruits, nuts and seeds your tastebuds desire :-)
1 cup of milk of your choice (I like almond milk)
1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
Zest of 1 orange
1/4 cup chia seeds
2 teaspoons greens powder (I like Vital Greens)
Rice malt syrup to taste if you like a little sweeter
Place all ingredients in blender/nutri bullet and blend for 30-60 seconds. Alternatively you can whisk in a mixing bowl.
Place in container and refrigerate until set. Overnight is best but will be good to go in 4 hours.
